Cicero here... Greetings.
Hi, my name's Cicero Taxidermy. I suppose all that's left to do is answer these little items here...
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm an assistant casting director here with my sister's modelling agency, and I model part time for her. I'm also taking A Levels through distance education. On top of all that, I enjoy creating music. I sing and play the keyboards, guitar and bass.
2. Where are you from?
I was born in Melbourne, Australia, but I've lived overseas nearly my whole life in places such as Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. I'm currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Too many to name! My favourite genre of writing is mostly holocaust literature and memoirs, so every one of my favourite books has a different author. John Marsden is pretty damn good though.
4. What are your favorite films?
The Crow, Edward Scissorhands, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Party Monster, Donnie Darko, Back to the Future, Interview With the Vampire, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, the Princess Bride
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
O Fortuna as I walk down the aisle, then for the dancing something like Corvus Corax.
6. At your funeral?
Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. Ooh and Everyone I Love is Dead by Type O. Gotta get that mourning going!
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Peacefully at the age of 91. To be honest I'm terrified of death.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
An ancient Egyptian sarcophogus.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Too many to describe. I'm a huge fan of long and flowing medieval gowns.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Lego!
11. What's your favorite band?
AFI, Rozz Williams and Christian Death, Faith and the Muse, Type O Negative, Dead Can Dance, Current 93, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, the Cure... Argh, so many, so many.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Thus far I'm nearly finished with highschool. By the end I'll have 5 A Levels, and plan on studying Egyptology at Melbourne University.
13. Why did you join?
To possibly meet some people with similar interests, and find a way to waste time.
There ya go. All done. Hope you can get through all that.

Welcome,Cicero.
Taxidermy and an Egyptian sarcophogus...sounds great to me!
Have you noticed that your avatar resembles "Scream" by Edvard Munch?

Welcome! Fresh meat!
You like most of the movies I like! Robin Hood: Men In Tights was a favourite when I was a kid, I watch The Princess Bride religiously. I used to want to do Egyptology when I was little, but then I read about the curse of King Tut and got scared out of it.
I also read a lot of holocaust literature, could you recommend a few books?

Cicero is from the Sex Gang Children song "Arms of Cicero". Ahhh, one of my favourite songs ever. Sex Gang Children should really be on my list of favourite bands. Though I do enjoy Chicago.
And thanks about the avatar comment. I painted that last year with the Scream in mind!
I'm not really sure how the whole Egypt thing started. I can't actually remember not being interested in it, and as I grew older the interest turned into obsession.
Ah yes, holocaust literature recommendations! I like this board. The titles of my favourites are:
- Elli by Livia E. Bitton Jackson
- Night by Elie Wiesel (a pretty famous one)
- Mila 18 by Leon Uris
- To See You Again by Joyce Gabriel by Betty Schimmel
- The Story of a Life by Aharon Appelfeld

Welcome, Cicero.
Cicero was a Roman defense attorney now known as the greatest public speaker of the era. That's saying a lot, as the Romans were perhaps the most skilled public speakers in history.

Quite a name to live up to.

Haha, yes! Finally someone pointed that out. I've recently been studying Cicero in quite a bit of detail in my Ancient History class. It IS quite a name to live up to. On the other hand, in order to live up to the song by the Sex Gang Children, I guess all I have to do is have arms .

The articulation of Arms of Cicero makes it one of the most memorable SGC songs. Good choice in name.

Sanctus - Yay! I think I love YOU! I've met far too few people who like Current 93 as much as I do.
Niels - If only I had those skills. Admiration is the best I can do at this point with regard to the original Cicero.

"Lucifer Over London" has always been my own favourite song, and "Island" my favourite album. The poetry of David Tibet is incredible - just listening to him speak is entrancing. "Island" has both the ability to lull me to sleep and terrify me.

Oh and thank you, WolfMoon.
Hmmm... the link must have something to do with the "@" turning it into an email address.

wtf?? But I didn't place a link there..?! *shrug*
Lucifer over London is amazing... I also love his rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Sounds of Silence' one of the few tunes capable of creeping me out.
