Its late and I've been in a bad habit lately of staying up uber late, so I'm debating whether I should stay up for the rest of the day, go to bed early and be able to wake up at a decent hour on Monday. Would waste my Sunday though, I'm useless without sleep.

And I can't stop reading these cover letters:

Mark Heap makes a hilarious "goth" . He absolutely creases me as Alan Statham in Green Wing, but this has just had me in stitches.

I just bought a ton of groceries, really, it had to weigh more than I do, feels like I pulled something trying to get the bags up the stairs and down to my apartment. I use cloth bags and normally they're pretty damn sturdy, it felt like they were going to bust. Twas all worth it though, I am now armed with enough veggies and baking good to feed an army.

HAH! I just finished the first draft of my Goth paper. I'm damned proud of myself right now. Couldn't have done it without my mom, though. She really is good at peptalks. Now I can allow myself to sleep... xD

Woooo all of the graduation crap is done with and the last of the visiting relatives leave tomorrow morning (well Jake's Nana is still around but she always spends at least one month out of every summer at Jake's parents' house). It will be nice to be able to have some free time to do whatever I want with instead of being forced to spend time around aggravating people. This isn't to say that I don't adore Jake's family, I really do, it is just that some of them are the "good only in small amounts" kind of people and there was much more than a small amount of time spent with them. Also Jake's grandmother says some really awful things when she drinks and she had a substantial amount on Sunday but hey that was to be expected.

Oh and Jake's uncle Rob (one of those type mentioned above) felt compelled to ask if the reason Jake and I got engaged was because I was pregnant and he couldn't be bothered to quietly take one of us aside to ask so he just blurted it out when there were about 20 other people around, though all of the old people were mostly out of hearing range so they thought that I was pregnant so yay fun >.<

I have chicken malaya with pilau from the Indian place nearby.
It's nice, but I kinda want to go back to my microwaved meals- they're much cheaper.

And no, I can't cook. For a variety of reasons.

I HATE YOU NOW. I live 15 mins up the road from the biggest indian/asian community in my area and none of the restaurants or takeaways do a chicken malaya to my knowledge. There was one we all used to go to after work 2-3 years ago, but it's since closed and dissappeared. *sigh* their malaya was pure sex in a dish.

You'll just have to come out to London and surrounding areas, then, won't you? We have chicken malaya.
Mine's delicious.

Ophelia, lovely creature, I'm afraid I'm in the UK till August 2010 (barring a few brief breaks in Paris and Portugal). But if you want to make it to Burning Man, I'm bringing kinky friends.

Ah, hell. There goes my malaya. I must learn not to tempt people.

But what about the rope-bondage-loving fetish model I'm bringing? Will you be her boyfriend, too?

Also, your taste in ice cream is excellent. Phish Food is divine.
