I know this doesn't count as chinese food but might as well put it.......
Easy Ramen Recipes
Peanut Butter ramen
1 pack of Ramen noodles (throw away flavor packet)
1/4 cup peanut butter.
1 Tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup water
Cook the ramen how you would cook it normally.
Drain the water.
Mix the other ingredients.
Mix the noodles and the sauce together.
Viola! enjoy
Panfried noodles
1 pack of ramen noodles
Oil
1 egg
Boil the ramen, but not too much because they get soggy.
Drain out the water.
Fry the noodles in a pan with the oil (but don't get it too oily or keep it on for too long, it will burn and stick. So move it around the pan constantly)
Remove the noodles and put it on a plate.
Fry an egg in the pan with the oil.
Remove the egg and place it on top of the ramen.

General Tso's Tofu
Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) container extra firm tofu
* 2 eggs, beaten (or egg replacer to make it Vegan)
* 5 teaspoons cornstarch, for sauce
* 1/2 cup cornstarch, for breading
* 5 tablespoons rice vinegar
* 6 1/2 tablespoons rice wine
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup soy sauce
* 3 tablespoons minced garlic
* 1 tablespoon minced ginger
* 2 tablespoons sesame oil
* 1/2 cup oil (for frying)
* chili oil
Directions
1.
Take tofu out of liquid it came in and chop into 1 inch cubes, press these between two towels to take out the moisture and dry them.
2.
Mix rice vinegar, rice wine, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, 2 Tbsp Sesame oil, and chili oil to taste. Add to this the cubes of tofu, cover and let marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours, preferably over night.
3.
Next, remove the tofu from the marinade. Try to remove as much outer moisture from them as you can. Set them aside.
4.
Take the marinade and add to it the 5 tsp Cornstarch and 1/2 cup sugar. Then whisk it together.
5.
In a large sauce pan bring the marinade (now General Tso's Sauce) to boiling over medium low heat. It should be thick when done. Then remove from heat.
6.
Beat two eggs, and immerse the tofu in them, covering all sides with egg. Then remove the tofu and place it on a paper towel. Then toss the tofu in the 1/2 cup cornstarch to lightly cover each side. Shake off the excess.
7.
Heat 1/2 cup oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Then place in the tofu, turn it during cooking so that each side gets browned.
8.
When all sides are browned, place the tofu on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil. Then add the tofu into the sauce and heat over low for 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through.
9.
Enjoy.

Lord Whiskerton, may I inquire as to what sort of vegetables one would and to your mixture? I'm thinking of using Carrots and Mushrooms with Chicken to the mix and I'm going to test it out tonight before making it for a friend tomorrow so any added reccomendations would be welcome.

Hmmm......for the peanut butter ramen mix perhaps some cooked peas or finely chopped red peppers? (I usually do not have red peppers readily at hand so I go without it most of the time) I toned down the Peanut butter ramen recipe a bit. Whoever originally made the recipe must have had a sweet tooth because when I first made it, the peanut butter overpowered the other ingredients.
As for the Pan fried noodles, it would be very hard to go wrong in any way. May I suggest adding minced onions to the mix?

That surely would go down a treat I suppose, but I didn't have any Onions at hand.
Instead I used the same principle but instead added Chicken and Honey. Instead of vegetables I added vegetarian spring rolls because I was lazy and the noodles soaked up the honey and really made it go down a treat.

Cheap and easy recipe:
1 Package Ramen
1 Can Canned Chicken
1 Teable spoon to 1/4 Cup Rice Vinegar
Break up dry ramen into smaller bits in a bowl, do not cook, add flavor pack, chicken and vinegar. Shake or mix around and serve. Surprisingly good.

Sorry, do not add flavor pack. Make sure to strain extra chicken juice away.
