Didn't hear much about the Georgia issue, but that really doesn't surprise me. I was in a discussion in class a few months ago about that exact same issue, with the argument against the immigrants being "They steal American jobs!" When I mentioned, "Yeah, like you're going to work in the fields and pick fruit and vegetables by hand at minimum wage" not a single one of them said they would. As Grausamkeit and Saya mentioned, the main enemy here is ignorance, not the immigrants.
