I'll be attending for sure. I've had a Disneyland pass for years now, but I've never done Bats Day.

Damn, I make it a point NOT to show up on Bat's Day. Only so much Tripp clothing I can handle.

True...however I bought a Tripp skirt w/o realizing it was Tripp or knowing it's some big clothing label just 'cause I liked it & I still love it to pieces.

You know the type. Dirty looking folk in button up dragon shirts and baggy tripp pants, sporting Tigger ears and stretchy bracelets.
It's sickening.

I hate the whole anime catgirl goth thing. It's so fucking retarded. I don't mind animal costumes, obviously, but not the anime thing. Lol, so they're trashgoths?

They're what? You've mentioned mallgoth, anime catgirl goth, and trashgosh as though these things are legal titles. Alls I said was they look like douchebags, even for southern california.

You're taking me too seriously with the terms. I'm kidding. Though as I understand it, "mallgoth" is a term that is associated with wannabes and poseurs; those who purchase goth clothes from mall chains - i.e. Tripp pants - to look goth. Thus, the inference I was making was that the people who go to Bats Day are poseurs.

I like to think that I am not a "poseur" Been going to Bats Day and running it for the last 11 years. To each their own I say. I agree that the media has blown out what the roots are. There are too many people that think bands like Funker Vogt and Combichrist are Goth. I may like Funker Vogt and Combi, but I know they are not Goth.

Once in a while I wish we had a similar day here at Disney World, but I can't help thinking it would be more fun just to get a handful of friends together and go. As I understand it, that's how Bats Day started anyway.

I think it's the birth of a new term - douchegoth!

We have a winner! Ding ding ding ding ding!

I would love to go, however I seriously doubt I'll be able to. I'm trying to get an apartment and other necessities. If only I made more money. Or had more hours.
