Oh shit, I'm host to the reincarnated soul of Benjamin Harrison.
This does not bode well.

Wow. All I needed was a simple answer, but thanks everyone. I've never been to a Vampire club before, but my friend has and she says it was scary. She's not into goth, so that's probably why.

No, it's probably because a lot of the people who frequent vampire clubs are nuts.

but yes as for my own completely depreciated two cents, it is this:
Psychic Vampirism, I know absolutely NOTHING about this topic and absolutely REFUSE to say an unkind word about.
Physical Vampirism: When it comes to role playing, or dressing up, or even blood letting and all that sexual freakiness, then right on, good stuff. HOWEVER, when you ACTUALLY THINK you are a creature that can change into ____ creatures, live for eternity, and require human blood in order to live, you DO need to be institutionalized.

Seriously? Yeah, I can imagine that. There's this vampire goth I know and he INSISTS people call him "Count". He won't even eat garlic or go in front of mirrors. He says he doesn't know how he looks anymore. To bad, because then he could see how stupid he looks.

There is a difference between the cool vampire visitors and the idiots. Don't discard everyone just because of a few douche bags. It's a two way street.

After all this I kind of feel like going to a vampire club just for the hell of it. Too bad I don't know of any around here.

I was never that heavily into vampires to begin with. From what I've gathered, everything about vampires post Interview with A Vampire as a movie as been nothing but FAIL, save for maybe the RPG Masquerade.

I don't. I know someone named Zelda who dresses Vampire but she's very intellegent. The others should be like her.

Or in most places. They are very rare due to the little amount of people who actually understand them enough to go. Most just think those clubs are for a bunch of freaks so they wouldn't give them the time of day (pun intended, lame I know).

Wow, great thread.
I like to look vampiric. I like to do my makeup so I literally look sunken in and sick and people tell me I look like a vampire when I dressed up. It is such a compliment to get

My thing is lipstick which was described by my friend as "if someone took a razor and slashed your lips and the blood wouldn't come off, that's how you look"
Direct quote. It was major LULZ though.

It probably wouldn't be that great in real life. Blood starts to rot after a while and eat away at the skin.

No, I mean I want my lips to be like yours and look as if they're covered in blood. I wouldn't want actual blood on my lips. I'm not that far gone. ^.^

Brentwood Mall london drugs is one of the few places that sells the lipstick I use, it's by a brand called "Prestige" and the color will be easy to find since it's the only red in the line.
I also use Mac's Ruby woo to make it stick though. That shit is 20 dollars each though.

Holy! 20 bucks! Forget it...I have no job besides my small allowance. I'll check out London Drugs though!

Red doesn't look good on everyone though, so try out all kinds of colors before you settle.

I read up on a vampire: the masquerade website last night. Now I can see the attraction a lot of people have to it. It's very symbolic of the goth lifestyle for many. A secret society, opposition to conventional religion, and the romantic aspects of it. I honestly believe that's where the ankh became a staple in the scene. And besides, Bauhaus wrote a song about a vampire and appeared in the Hunger, a movie about vampires. Eheheh...

Dark red looks okay on me if I dress up like on of the "Cradle of Filth" people. I'm not doing that.
