Pets?
I have a black kitten called Beaudelaire. Do you have any pets? What are they called and why?

We have a cat names Patches, because she's a calico and I was 5 at the time of naming her.

Spunky, the cat in my avi was my first pet. I had her for eighteen years and I wish I could find another cat like her.
Currently the only pet I have is Momo, my hamster. He has a little dark brown streak down the top of his head so we named him Mohawk Samurai, but call him Momo cuz it is easier.

Awww... I hope my cat lives that long.
Unless she gets miserable in the later years, of course.

My first cats were Chang and Smokey, a siamnese and tabby. We named him Chang from my favourite story book Tiki Tiki Tembo. Smokey was Smokey because she was gray ^_^ We also had a dog named Pepper, because he was white with black spots. I also had a bird named Basil, after my favourite Redwall character.
Currently we have Jess, a little chihuahua (she lives with mom though), I have a cat named Lucy (because my roomemate loves Across the Universe), and a rat named Jack. I had another rat named Shiro until he died recently, I wanted to name them after a musician I like, but not many musicians I like have names I like. So in the end I chose Shiro because Shiro means "white", and he was a white rat, and Jack, so together they were "Jack White". So clever I is.

All of our pets seemed to live pretty long lives, I think it had to do with the fact that we lived out in the middle of nowhere so they could safely spend most of their time outside.

I've got six cats and three dogs. Two of the cats live with me here, and the rest of the pets live in Malaysia with my mum and sister.
All my cats are awesome; affectionate, snuggly and gorgeous. The dogs are cool too, especially one called Cleo who's by far the smartest dog I've ever known. She just understands so much of what we say, and is extremely protective too. This one time we were down at the beach swimming in some pretty big surf, and Cleo was on the shore keeping a keen eye on us. I saw her and said to my mum "Aw, look, Cleo's being a lifeguard. CLEO, HELP ME I'M DROWNING!", then thrashed around a bit in a half-hearted 'drowning' scene. At that very moment Cleo left her post and ran straight into the waves towards me, all Baywatch style. Of course the waves were too big and I ended up having to rescue her, but damn, she really thought she had to save me.
I could probably go on and on about my pets all day.

Besides Patches, I have a Yorkie (that I hate) named Tootles, a Dachshund named Scruffy, and an absolutely evil little cat that at least snags me a bird or two.

Ah, yes, that was just a typo. We were going to call him Pluto, because he has a little white patch on his chest, but I thought it was kind of tempting fate. Also, my last cat was called Lemony, after Lemony Snicket so Baudelaire tied in with that quite nicely.

I have a chihuahua named Spunky. He is very hyper, so the names fits him well. My girl is a chihuahua/jack Russell her name is Spazz. She is very dependent on me and cries when I leave her. My dogs are spoiled.

The neighbour's cat is more often at our house than hers, so yes, I have a cat. She's called Clara, (Or Poddles, she answers to both) she's the least cat-like cat I've ever met. She can't jump up, doesn't fight, doesn't cuddle, doesn't hunt; all she does is eat and sleep, literally.

My mother got a new dog, well she doesn't have him yet because she will be going away next week so she isn't going to pick him up until she gets back. I'm going home to meet him, I'm super excited.

I have a tortoiseshell cat named Shia. I named her after a panther character in a series of fantasy books. Actually, I get a lot of my pet names from various books. Except for one name for that I just made up.

I have a LOT of pets. A LOT.
But my two ferrets are just irresistable.
One is white and as she grows up she begins to look like a little polar bear and her names Ondine.
The other one is brown and practically a baby and of course I had to make his name Curious for his need to play with and explore everything

I have a pure white kitten named Geist, which is the german word for ghost. The name fits her too as she is fairly quiet until she decides that she wants to knock something down. She also follows me around everywhere I go, and will either push the door open if it isn't latched or jump on it trying to get in.

I have a German Shepard named raid, and a grey fluffy cat name shadow...
Raid, because that dog can leave your house in ruins within minutes, and Shadow because he just follows me around everywhere

I have a balding two pound chihuahua named Flapjack that I trained to kill and eat crickets, but not much else. Which reminds me- I must get around to trining him.
