I never denied that in the first place. I was arguing with Catch, who made the implied claim that it was still in prevalent use as a negative term for something when Gothic Rock came into being, while in reality the term from which "Gothic Rock" comes directly meant something entirely different.

I can't imagine how the Spanish Language could possibly be related even if we lived in a Jodorowsky movie, so I'm just going to ignore this statement and assume you'll explain if it's really important.
