Hi, thinking about joining a band but not sure. He just added my voice along with the music. Here is a sample.

Sorry man, it wasn't so much your voice (which can improve with practice), but I really didn't like the music. Even when I listen to sinister stuff, I like some melody along with it. Having monochordic music dragging on put's too much pressure on your voice to actually make it sound interesting. All in all: go ahead and join a band, just choose another band or tell them to try more than one or two chords.

Oh and, even if you have a sucky voice, join a band, IMHO its tremendeous fun, I'd join any band if someone proposed it but I don't have any musical skills what-so-ever. My growl is good but I can't practice it for too long (my mouth & neck go sore, must be because of cigarettes) so... so I'm doomed! And I have so much musical ideas =(
