Who the hell made this website? And whey are there no moderators? I just thought about it recently, and it seems strange, because any other forum I've ever been to is littered with moderators and administrators.

There were moderators/administrators (Empty Purple Stars was one), but to my knowledge, there was some fallout and they were all kicked off or banned, along with most of the senior members.

I find that people police themselves quite fine here.

Yeah there used to be mods and there was a big blowup (a good part of which was someone being made a mod and then he abused his powers big time, which I think may be why the new admin decided not to make active members into mods). Now the admin do occasionally come in and deal with things if something gets way out of hand and there is a mod, but I'm not sure if he actually does anything anymore. Personally I think things seem to be working fine with little moding

Interesting perspective though. So far as I know, out of this entire forum, as an example of human nature, we have seen what? ONE actual person who desired to kill us? Interesting that.

I find it quite interesting there's pretty much next to no mod here and yet this forum is more civilized than 99% out there.

I wanna know who writes the articles in the "Articles" section and how to submit one. Most of the ones there suck. A bunch of movie reviews--big deal. I'd like to see more actual gothic articles. After all, half the people here are wanna-be writers. (I guess saying the articles suck isn't a good way to get anything of my own accepted.)

Interesting. I never really thought much of it either. As others have said, though, we pretty much keep one another in check here anyway. Some of the worst bitch-fests I've ever seen are on a forum that is LOADED with mods, global mods, admins, etc. Not that that is directly related, but that site probably needs more moderation anyway.
