< thought Van Helsing was a stupid movie with bad acting all around.

However, Kate B looked good in it and Hugh Jackman is hot. On that basis < bought Van Helsing on DVD.

V has bought a bad DVD simply because the actors were hot?

< doesn't have a DVD player, so < has only three DVD's.......The one from the second self titled The Cure album, the one from the KYO 300 lessions and the family guy movie.
< got the family guy movie for free so < was rather upset that < couldn't watch it.
< loves underworld, and can't wait til the second one comes out in New Zealand.
< hates waiting to see movies that came out in the states 6 months ago.
< has a very funny story to tell about movies coming out late

In 2001 < went to Thailand, where there is a hell of a lot of pirated software and movies.
< had never thought it was possible to buy movies before they came out in New Zealand. Later on < went to a small town by the coast called crabbe. (crah-bay) There is this tiny little cafe right next to the hotel there, and they had excellent milkshakes. But anyway, there wasn't much else to do in this town but go to the cafe for dinner, if you're a tourist. It was a crack up to all of a sudden see the owner of the store pull out an overhead projector, whip out the DVD of American Pie II and set up a little movie theatre outside. < watched American Pie II at the age of 13 before it had even come out in cinemas at home. < thought the movie was completely wack, and didn't completely understand the concepts because of the sheltered life < had. Funny, but random.

< got to see the Austin Powers movie "Goldmember" before it came out in Australia when < was in Bali (< was 11 yrs old...).

< hates receiving things after the States have had them for months. < has been waiting desperately for the new book in a series and it came out in America 8 days ago but it doesn't com out here until July...

The best comedy comes from Britain! Mr bean, Black Adder, Little Britain and all those orginal shows come from Britain. < gives 3 cheers from british comedy!
Kyo is this muse-sounding french band which actually is quite good and has a very nice vocalist but isn't wellknown in non-french communities.
< loves Kyo, especially their vocalist, Benoit Poher.
