The short answer, based on their wiki, is "Yes." All of their equipment and vehicles are accurate.

I looked up the band name, and apparently that video was shot on a Thailand military base. I'm going to assume it's Thai army. But that's an easy one. A lot of their stuff is old U.S. stuff.

I know the rifles are M16A1/A2 because A4s don't have that carrying handle and also have something called a "picitany (sp?) rail system" for attachments like optics and vertical grips/lasers.

The first helicopter (The one with two horizontal rotors) is a Boeing CH-47D Chinook. The second looks like a Bell UH-1N Twin Huey, but I can't tell because the video gives a very bad profile shot of it. It's not as recognizable as the Chinook.

The "jeeps" are actually Hmmwvs (or hummers/humvees). Looking at them at a glance, they look like the 1025 model. It's your typical soft-skinned gun truck.

The uniforms look about right. I can't confirm/deny the validity of their camouflage pattern, but their equipment is just a Kevlar helmet and a load-baring harness, which is pretty standard.

My only confusion is the second, and larger, truck in the video. I can't tell if it's a U.S. LMTV or a Soviet Kraz.

Also. That Russian chick, Maria Mazikova, is fucking gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I would get arrested for the things I would do to her.

Thanks Versus.

Sure she's cute but the guy she is kissing at the end of the video is more my style

XD He is very handsome. It kind of makes me wonder who he is, or what their relationship is/was.

That whole video sparks a very familiar feeling of nostalgia in me. It at the same time reminds me of how lonely I can feel as well how passionate I have been known to be.

But that's kind of depressing. Yay booze!

Also. My unanswered questions of the day are:

I thought long and hard what question I would ask in Saya's thread, and I deferred to an attempt at being humorous. My initial questions were

1) If sharks do not have bones, and only have cartledge, how do they produce blood?

2) If, in an atom's nucleus, there exists only protons with a positive charge and possibly neutrons without a charge; and orbiting those atoms are electrons with a supremely minute negative charge: What keeps the nucleus from bursting apart?

Sorry can't answer your questions but yeah I love the way he looks at her just before she leaves. Either they are both very good actors or are in a relationship.

Ah yes, maybe they were lovers in a former life

Found this Versus

Since sharks have no bone tissue, they also lack red bone marrow — which, as you point out, produce red blood cells in most vertebrates. In elasmobranchs (sharks and rays), the job of manufacturing red blood cells is performed by the spleen, special tissue around the gonads (reproductive organs), and — in at least some species — by a special structure called Leydig's Organ[/url]" (named after the German histologist who first described it in 1857).

In those shark species in which it occurs, Leydig's organ is nestled along the top and bottom of the esophagus. Leydig's organ can be quite large — a 1.6-kilogram (3.5-pound) one was reported from a 1.8-metre (6-foot) long Bluntnose Sixgill Shark (Hexanchus griseus). Leydig's organ is absolutely unique to elasmobranchs, and — as more and more fisheries and marine biologists become aware of it — this interesting structure will undoubtedly be reported in an ever greater number of shark species.

I meant maybe they've been in similar circumstances before. My implication was that such situations are common. For me, anyway. But I like your reasoning better.

Oh, and thank you! Fruitbat > Wikipedia.

Lateral thinking at work... sorry...

Mortal - i want to be a mineral.. I'm sick of being an animal, most people think I'm a vegetable, so a mineral it is!

Why do some people stop like a football field's length away from the stop line/car in front of them when coming to a stop at an intersection?!

It's because the park rangers always stand to the left, and bats always shit on them as they leave the cave.

In all seriousness (which makes a change for me) I was at a cave with about 20 other people, bats flew out of the cave, one of the women went all "ah they are going to shit on me" and the park ranger said "No, they only crap on rangers" and then as if on cue, he got crapped on.

HAhahahaha. That's awesome, Fruitbat.
A seagull nearly shat on my topper once. I swear, it even tried to fling it.

Why do they have to the lobbies of my apartment building? I'm trying to enjoy a day off, but all I can hear is jackhammers, and I'm too tired to go out.

Electrons have the same magnitude of charge as protons, they're just opposite, you're probably thinking of their relative masses. Also, "atom" includes the electrons, so electrons orbit the nucleus (not the atom). The nucleus would burst apart if the only force present was electrostatic, but there's another force which is attractive and stronger at small distances and it holds the nucleons together. It's creatively named the "strong force" although technically for nucleon binding, it's more of a secondary effect so it's sometimes called "residual strong force".
