But the Cinema Strange story is great. I'd love to meet the guys and almost had a chance to meet Lucas. Some guys from NY Decay were trying to put a regular Philadelphia deathrock event into play that he was supposed to play at, but that fell through. Deathrock + Philadelphia isn't exactly a workable mix. "How deathrock you are" seems to be based on geographical location nowadays. *coughcaliforniacough*

LOLZ. Haha.

But I'm talking about deathrockers. A lot, not all, from Cali are really pompous jerks who think they're better because they live in Cali. Yeah, they get to see the bands more often because the the bands also flock there in droves, but that's no grounds to be an ass. The idea of California being the deathrock holy land goes straight to their heads. Again though, I know a few Californian deathrockers (and by a few I mean like, one) who aren't fuckbags. (No, I'm not saying that liking deathrock and living in Cali makes you a fuckbag. I'm saying the scene in general.)

It's not too bad, man.

I was wondering why someone called Penny Dreadful was adding me...I swear it's the name of another band.

I like the drones....good drones. It reminds me of Smells Like Children...with the way it's well random.

Thank you. I attempt to have the most streaming-sense of nonsense that wants to come out of me at the moment that I'm playing. I just finished another song earlier, and I'm uploading it now.

Oh my god. I love playing different genres. I use my guitar to convey mostly hard rock, alternative rock, sheoegaze, blues, classical, metal, jazz, pop, electronic, hip-hop, R & B, goth rock, punk, and a bunch of other crazy shit. It's hard to describe my coagulated brand of noise with just words.

Whatever I can manage to play on my guitar, classical on the piano.
When I sing, I sing everything I can without harming my throat.

It really depends on my moods, along with what guitars I have with me. I have never been one of those guys who can play, say, for sake of argument, Slayer, through a clean amp. I have to have the distortion to like to play it. So, at this moment, I only have my acoustic ax with me, so I play alot of blues, and folk music. I would rather have distortion even for blues, but I get tired of folk music, and have to break out a little bit. I really will play anything though. I was in a classic country style band (think like early Johnny Cash, Ken Overcast, Marty Robbins, etc.) for quite a while. That was fun, as I was the guy with multiple facial piercings, and at the time, long dyed black hair. We played at alot of cowboy poetry gatherings, which are traditional cowboy dress. So, that meant black Stetson, black boots, however mine I still wear, they are old 1890s style mule ear boots, engineer/firefighter shirts. I'll have to find some old pictures of me doing that kinda stuff, just for laughs. Since I am sure there will be plenty. I lose all goth points now, I am sure.

I've got to say, when you and Christian are jamming you guys are a blast to jam with. We've got to get that to happen more often as I get more time off.

As for what I play? Anything. You name it, I'll play it. Jazz. Rock. Punk. Goth-Rocky. Metal.

I drum, so it's easy for me to play around with all genres.

Once I get a MicroKorg we should do some tribal synth jam time.

That'd be fucking hot. To top it off, we have to get around to recording some of it and seeing how it turns out. If we can work with it. I think we could get some sick sounds.

Definitely. Good stuff usually comes from improv. stuff. Maybe a few things to work into concrete songs.

PA? I might be visiting there this summer. I'll play bass if you want. I'm not great, but I'm decent.
