Anybody ever listen to these guys? They were popular(ish...) in the 80's, i only know one person that's into them. It's the elfman thing...

I love Oingo Boingo, and have done for quite some time.

The entire 'Dead Man's Party' album is a classic, particularly the songs Dead Man's Party and Just Another Day.

Fans of Oingo Boingo should definitely check out the film in which they were spawned: The Forbidden Zone .

After I saw the movie "Weird Science" back in the 80's, I bought the soundtrack and their albums. Danny Elfman is an awesome musician/composer, he has a long line of accomplishment within his career with the help of Tim Burton.

I love Oingo Boingo as well. Insanity is a awsome song. Elfman never lacks in making me laugh to Little Girls. XD

Anyone that a Rodney Dangerfield character would invite to play at a college dorm-room party in a movie is alright with me. "Dead Man's Party," is definitely the best.

I think the movie was called Back to School or something.

Weird Science should have had more synths for a song about weird science though.

Goodness me, YOU know about it too?

I love you

Yep, I'm quite fond of them. Almost everything by them I find amazing. Well, with the sole execption of that 'Weird Science' track they did. *Sigh*

Elfman's a musician's musician!
As if Dead Man's Party & Just Another Day weren't awesome enough, he goes on & scores the symphonic music for the 1989 Batman movie & co-writes Siouxsie & the Banshees' Face to Face!
Just one awesome guy!
