Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Emilie Autumn :D
I truely admire this woman. Her music is raw and truthful. She has an amazingly strong voice and I adore the music.
She'd been in an asylum, and she wrote some songs about it. The conditions. One about her in-mate.
She'd also written a book about it "The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls". I desperatly want to read this book. I've heard it has quite gory and realistic, thus drawing me closer to it.
Anyways, I truely adore her and her music.
Anybody else a Plaugue Rat here?
If you have not listened to her, then I suggest you do.

I only like some of her songs. Her fans seem to be really nice but they try to mimic her style which turns out absolutely awful.

Yeah. Usually they try to home make the outfits and it looks like something they stole from a hobo. :O

True. I saw some really awful things. But I'd rather not talk trash about EA's fans. But those girls did talk trash about Attrition...Attrition is awesome.

Why do people keep making new Emilie Autumn threads when there are five thousand of them here already? And why do people like Emilie Autumn in the first place? She sounds like a cat going through a meat grinder tail first.

Oooh, favorite songs by Miss Emilie Autumn? I'd say I generally favor her instrumental music with "Organ Grindera", "A Cure?" or "Leech Jar" being my favorites. For her music with vocals I'd probably say "By The Sword", "Liar" or "Rose Red". Although... it certainly is hard to choose a few favorites!

Don't know her music, but from what I've heard she's an attention-whoring cuntbag 14-year old emo girl stuck in the body of a grown woman.
Also she has no idea what asexual means.

I saw Rasputina in 2008, very original, very enchanting. They opened for Siouxsie's Mantaray tour. Female cellists in fluffy dresses with wood between their legs was never more charming. Unforgettable.
