I don't believe so, as her posts are still visible. I feel she ran away because we were mean, which makes me happy.

With that piece of knowledge, one should honestly draw the assumption that Ophelia is, as she claims, admitting a fault of hers. If the original post had any form of attack to it, it was against the original poster, not anyone else.
To the fellow who's screen name I can't be bothered to remember with the tank icon, you're utterly wrong, shut up now, thank you.

I would like to inform you of something you seemed to have failed to realize on your own: No one is attacking Ravenmother!
No one has in this entire thread. What are you reading?

It's nice to see! Thank you ravenmother for being an example of proper nettiquite and making my day a little bit less aggravating.
May we mourn the banning of the duckman. :' (

if you say Signe's name three times in front of a mirror, you can hear her whine.

Oh... Kaaaayy......
I... would attempt avoiding the shootout here, and just place my opinion on the original topic matter, but it seems like I've been beaten to it. Just a couple of things. The only ways I can honestly see Internet arguments taking importance in outside life are two: One, you end up infuriating some short'n'ugly, short-tempered hacker, and s/he ends up sending armies of viruses to your computer to eat away at it from the motherboard out, just because you deigned to argue that Star Trek had some redeeming qualities. Two, you are familiar the person you're arguing with, outside of the Internet, and out of a blinding anger, s/he ends up coming over to your house and putting three banana clips into it in your general direction, just because you deigned to admit that his/her new hairstyle is more than a little unsettling. When you think about it, both reasons really depend on how little tolerance the offended has for the offender.
Otherwise, they're just too far away to do any lasting damage.

Personally, I think you shouldn't say anything on the internet that you wouldn't come up to a person and say in real face-to-face time.
With me, what you read is what you get. I don't put up some persona. I'm not playing some RPG here.

Underwater Ophelia - just want to say that I thought you made some very valid points in your OP. I do think that those that immediately jumped in with both feet to flame you would probably do the same obnoxious thing IRL. They've just proved your point ;-)
Yup - drewsilla - I'm like you - what you see is what you get. Its just that being secure in ourselves sometimes makes others feel insecure! lol!

Did you actually READ the original post? This comment of yours seems to indicate that despite your initial flaming, you actually agree with Underwater Ophelia.

I don´t think I agree. A lot of people in the internet try to show an image of themselves that isn´t exactly what they are... most of them lie about their age, religion, culture and interests....
It´s a very relative thing, but I´m not saying that everyone in intenet is not honest.
