My slow connection doesn't allow videos to load very quickly. I only got up to "Him Hymn".

But seeing this, I probably had the same expression as one finally learning the meaning of life. And I think I wet myself a little.

I felt almost euphoric.

The feeling you get after vomiting for an hour.

I know what you mean. It was like someone went into the greatest dream possible with a video camera and came back with the footage they got.

It's really cool to hear the older stuff sung in his post-hospital Pope Adrian voice.

I really hope more RP fans here see and comment on this. So far it's been just us. Haha.

Yeah...
I feel slightly elitist.
It's like we have our own clique.

They're such an underrated band=[

I'd love to see them live.
You have any idea of they still do gigs?
I'd probably be able to go if they did it on this side of the UK.

They are pretty underrated. And Blinko is the most interesting and awesome person on the planet. The music, art, books, the fact that he's always stayed kind of out of sight, his schizoaffective disorder, obsession with Lovecraft, etc. If there's one person I'd like to meet it would be him.

I have no idea if they plan on any more gigs. My guess would be no, though. Even if they did it'd probably be in the UK leaving me right out due to living in the states.

Yeah.
I've read an interview (the only one he's done I think) and he doesn't appear to talk much.
But that's kind of understandable I guess.

They're still together, I know that much, and they did release "No More Pain" in 2008.
So maybe they'll gig soon.
If you could fly out to see them that'd be awesome.

I would fly over there in a heart beat to see them if they were playing and I had the money.

Also, the whole video has been chopped up and a few pieces of it are on YouTube. Easier to load and get the songs you want.

Chances are I could get on the guest list as well.
Or get paid for.
They are the one band I would do anything to see.

I had my art exam today.
My final piece was influenced by some Blinko stuff and other outsider art.

I'll get some other pictures when I have it back.

Good stuff man. Good stuff. I think that we need not only a Rudi appreciation thread but one for the Subhumans as well.

I found Worlds Apart on CASSETTE at cheapo for 95 cents a few months back and have been playing it non stop. Like I said you and me should make a punk thread.

That picture's awesome.
I think you showed it to me in the DIY thread.

EDIT: Subhumans rock.
