Question abou the book, "The Child Called it"

Well I am reading the book "The Child Called It" for my novel work in school. I really like it but it hurts a lot. I'd like to know if any of you have read it and if you know if there is a movie about it?!

I believe that they did make it into a movie. I haven't read the book or seen the movie if there is one. So, good luck with plodding through it! Why is it hurting you? Are you really banging it into your head?

UGH... I read this book during catechism because it was that or listen for four hours about how I'm going to hell not for being a lesbian, but for having lesbian sex. Most people have a book in them. Most people should keep it there.

Or in therapy.
