Oh goodness. This thread has certainly ran the gamut, eh?
Thanks for the tip Unimatrix, but I'm sure I can hold my own.

I enjoy these forums, despite my short time being here. I do have trouble keeping up though, especially without the Internet at my house. I have to journey to the library. There's so much more conversation here than the Goth forum at Sykospark. It is much appreciated by me; even reading the silly youngsters pseudo-angsty posts is entertaining, despite their lack of unoriginality.

I know a good dealer. He'll ball you afterwards if you smile nice.
Seriously, I know what you mean... getting a fuck is easy enough, but it can be hard finding people with their own real identity. At the moment pretty much everyone I know classes themselves as "alternative". It's really annoying when people cop out that way, instead of just cultivating a bloody personality.

If you've ever listened to Judas Priest, Slipknot is the most brutal music you'll hear compared to that shit.

*dun dun*"
No, Judas Priest. Go away.

You cleary don't know much about heavy metal. Judas do actually sound reasonably heavy - Slipknot just sounds like rap music. "If Ur 555 dEN Im 666" - so heavy!

Bitch, what the fuck!
Uni is getting all wet telling newbies about this thread in hopes of "overthrowing Gnet" or some shit like that, and you revive this thread just to talk about Slipknot?!
Let this thing die.

Do you realise who you're fucking talking to? I'm not a maggot, motherfucker. I hate the majority of Slipknot fans. Metal was my life for the better part of four years, and that's pretty important when it's nearly a quarter of my lifespan, and I could mindfuck you past the fourth dimension when it comes to music. Judas Priest had more in common with Glam than Metal until they released Painkiller in '92. You going to tell me that Living After Midnight is a Metal song? Have you ever HEARD British Steel? Despite the fact that everyone says it's Metal, Slipknot is clearly heavier than Priest. Know why? NICKELBACK ARE HEAVIER THAN JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST.

And where someone decides to fall off the cliff, someone else always has to follow...

Why should I? Because you've decided you don't want to talk about it? Okay, leave. If someone's being a dick about me I'll set the record straight without asking your permission first mother.

Slipknot fucking sucks. I don't know why I have to keep saying this, but people just won't listen.
Like Necrophagist said, they're not even metal, it's more like shitty rap with shitty guitars.

Slipknot don't rap. I've listened to all they've done. If they've ever rapped it was either on really quietly for like ten seconds, or I repressed the memory. And I hate that whole 'Metal denial' bullshit, I don't like Trivium, but they're clearly Metal. I don't like Bullet for my Valentine, but they're clearly Metal. It's like saying George Bush isn't the president because you don't like him.
