Sweeney Todd

Holy Jesus. It was great.

I think it's honestly my favorite Tim Burton film.

I'll probably see it, but Tim Burton movies are all the same.
I guess I'm too old for the "quirky and creepy Hot Topic preteen audience" movies.
I'm just too old for anything.

I'd like to see it sometime. But I'd rather see National Treasure, first. And I Am Legend.

I thought Sweeney Todd was excellent! I want a painting of the final frame of the film! Absolutely gorgeous!

I can't wait to see it, either. ^_^

It has everything I love in a film.

State ruining a man's life.

Man puts on new persona.

Comes back with blades and get's revenge (and has a great time doing it!)

I would love to see it, but apparently my theatre doesn't see it fit to show it here...

Sweeney Todd was nice. A lot of familiar faces and some sweet scenes and pretty music. I recommend it.

Wow. I mean, I know that every mallxcore kid loves Burton these days, but the man is a magnificent artist.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Tim Burton's movies are never the same. They have the same ambient to it, but so were Shakespeare's plays.
If you think they're all the same, I think you might not be looking at them past the 'quirky and creepy', just like all those Hot Topic preteens that pretend to be fans of Tim Burton you mentioned.

I agree with Jillian. Each of Tim Burton's movies are unique and brilliantly artsy. I'm looking forward to seeing Sweeney Todd!

I want to check it out for sure, even though I too am too old and stuff. Yet I'm not really.

I saw Burton's remake of Planet of the Apes coming from miles away and never endured the displeasure, but my spider sense says that this latest will be better than anything he's done in awhile.

uhg... I absolutely hated the musical. Haven't seen Tim Burton's take on it, but I can't imagine it will be much less fruity... though I tend to like his direction. I wish he'd change it up a bit, though.

I'm still not understanding the "too old" thing. Seriously, people.

I truly hate all musicals, and I actually enjoyed this one. The romantic side of it was fruity, and the gore was all extremely fake, but it was enjoyable.

You are right of course, Green Lady. Which is the point I guess. If you feel that you're too old than you are but if that makes no sense to you then you're not. I can go either way in a sense, but generally just am.
