Well, I admit it seems likely he's a pedo, but note my story just posted in Spooky News about the American that's facing up to a year in prison for bringing Manga into Canada. There are some overzealous people out there.
I'd hate to think about trying to prove that every pornish picture I've looked at on the internet contained all legal age-of-consent adults. I bet lots of people with a bunch of stuff downloaded on their PC's could get nailed for something that's on there.

Yeah, but charging people with child porn for having manga is a pretty new thing after it happened in the US a year or two ago. His first conviction was years ago.

Didn't the first article specifically say that it was child porn(pictures and videos) on his PC?
Also, the point is obviously that pedos should die, not that they shouldn't be looking at naked kids after being on probation.

Grausamkeit, yes, that's what the authorities charged him with. Could have actually been manga and hentai videos on his PC for all we know. Guy can't afford a good lawyer, pretty much whatever they wanted to throw at him was gonna stick.

Thing is, he was convicted of having child porn, not for molestation or sexual assault. He deserves to die just as much as anyone who watches a sn.uff, or gets joy out of watching violent acts.
Also, most child molesters are not pedos, at least not "true" pedoph.iles. They're attracted to adults as well. Its about power, not attraction, and I think using "pedo" clinicalizes it and absolves responsibility for many of them, and makes it harder for true pedos to seek help.

It isn't a matter of wanting them on the streets raeping kids, its a matter of justice, and whether we want to lower ourselves to their level.
Its not fair to say that by being anti-capital punishment that means I think everyone should be raeping everybody.
And there's few boogeymen who take children from the streets, most prey on family members and those they have very easy access to. I have more to fear from a sketchy cousin than someone who looks suspicious on the road.

First, I am against capital punishment for anyone. As we have already seen recently, former president bush had two innocent men executed, and the now governor of Texas has had at least one -

Then when it comes to r@pists, wishing death on them helps no one. In the long thread we had about this before I pointed out a few things, the most important being it is a mental sickness, a disease, and wishing death on sick people is not good. They need to be locked away and given proper treatment. No one would advocate killing a child who was retarded or had other obvious mental conditions, and these people are no different.
I have kids too, I would not want to have to deal with a situation involving said persons but I also don't feel they should be killed or anyone else for that matter especially if studies show they can be helped.

Whoa! Now I am thinking he had ulterior motives when he recreated the Picture Thread (when the old one was deleted).
The number of photos and videos found make it pretty clear he had a sick fetish for CP. 436 photos (not counting the videos and other stuff).
I remember him here on Gnet, and think it is likely that he committed suicide as he frequently seemed ostracized and depressed about being socially isolated.
