Good job Geoluhread, but honestly this is the sort of thing you should write about in your own blog.

One of the most surprising revelations to me when I dabbled in reading a few criminal science books was the concept that someone is defined as committing a crime only because a behavior or action had been arbitrarily defined by lawmakers as criminal. In other words, a million people may throw a banana peel on the park grounds and be fined for littering, but the a law may be passed stating that because banana peels are organic that those are exempted from the law and now no one is fined.

Look at prohibition as another example: where drinking was legal, then made illegal, then made legal again. So law abiding citizens became criminals at the sweep of a pen, then made law abiding citizens again.

Anyway, fascinating stuff, criminal science.

We'll study more of lab analysis... But interesting to read...

What i believe is that All the laws in countries are put by humans, we make mistakes... That's why we need to follow the laws, rules... Etc which are put by someone greater than ourselves, and who knows the human nature better... Of course i mean god...
That's why i think the idea of not believing in god is absurd

God was created by man. Ergo, rules/laws "revealed" to us by God are just as fallible as those created by man. Of course, a lot of the laws come straight out of religion, so your statement, "All the laws in countries are put by humans, we make mistakes.." rings true.

Geoluhread, congratulations on passing your final!

My opinion on what you just said:

If God really existed, I wonder what he'd say to all the crap that's going on in this world. No one who believes in God (and is religious) follows the laws or teachings of God, they follow the laws and teachings of some ridiculous book that they believe God had a part of. "God" has caused far more destruction in this world than peace.

You find it surprising? That's the whole premise behind authority!
(and I promise to not get into the religion shit this time)

If you never tasted sorrow you'll never experience joy... And when it comes to wars and so, people get what they deserve... Call it karma... How do we ignore our health, how we destroy the earth... We inject our bodies with things...
God gave us all this as a deposit you can say, and all what humans do is destroy... Didn't we see this coming?

God gave us our minds and the freedom of choice, good, evil... He didn't decide for us, he just knows our decision, and most people choose evil,..

There are things in this life that are unfair, but there is a judgment day... All people are even and get what's fair...

We are human, we do mistakes, but it's not that we do them, it's whether we repent or not... Most people don't... So this is what the world is now...

It was to me, being a little naive at the time (I still am in some ways). It was one of those moments of realization when my world lost some some of its cohesiveness, realizing that laws were being made by fallible people, and thus individuals being arrested and having some of their lifetime taken away suddenly became so pointless (for some crimes, crimes of violence must obviously be prevented as far as is possible to avoid life becoming brutish and short lived).
