I actual don't get how furry's that gross. I mean, I don't find it appealing, but the only time it bugs me at all is when it comes up in a porn search. And even then, some of the higher quality stuff is fappable.

im glad to see the poor misconseption of furries is not lost.(im jokeing.......kinda)
most furs dont go out and have sex in costume most of us dont even own one(i dont but id like to to damn expensive though). for some furs being furry is kinda like goth(im probly gonna get flamed for that comment so instead of responding to them heres a forward response*gives finger*)
i mean that in the sense of its a way to get away a way to counter culture. other furs do it because we feel that we are what ever animal we are portraying. one fur i met in pittsburg at anthocon said he did it for one simple reason, which to me made sense, he said "we all know what humans are like we know what theyd do in a situation, we dont really know exactly what animals are like so fur is kinda what happens when you mix the unknown with the known". there are some who are into yiff(fur porn) and ill admit over the last few weeks some of it has intriged me but to be honest only about 30% of the fandom are. those that say "furries are nothin but a bunch of queers in animal suits who fuck" are like the people who used to chant" goth is a bunch of whinny gay kids who think there lives suck so they fuck each other and cut there wrists"
