My name is wishcat because I love cats!! =^.^=
The wish is because I've never really been happy, and I was always wishing I was somewhere else, wishing for better things, always just wishing away. =p

'Vyian' pronounced Vay-Vian-was the name of a hidden cult during the Witch burning times to which all of the witches would hide and conduct spells without supervision. Black-thorne symbolizes a black thorn, which represents me, lonely and embracing the darkness as it stabs silently.

Elliot is just something my parents and friends started calling me a few years ago. I guess it stuck, so it's been my username for a lot of sites.

Really? I actually like your original. If not, it'd probably be 'PyschoBatcave'

Mine means "darling." I found it on a website of obscure words.

It sounds kinda gailic, Acushla...

As for mine, originally I go by Soul Reaper. But that name bears many bad rep points for some reason. I guess it's cause it comes off as kinda gloomcookie to many.

It really only started out as an on-line video game name for deathmatches. I wanted to keep it for everything else as well.

Well, Kontan Karite is the Japanese translation I got from Babel Fish of Soul Reaper.

But my name comes in a few varieties these days. Kontan, Kontan Karite, Soul Reaper, SR, Bound Soul Reaper...

From what I remember, my username means storm in Japanese.
As for the reason it is my username, this is merely because I've been using "Arashi" on the internet and most public situations as my name for quite some time now. I think it adequately fits my personality at times, as well...
My real name is Alicia. Arashi, Alicia - they sound somewhat alike when said aloud.

For some reason, when I saw your name I thought about those african parables starring that spider-guy that was a total wiseass... Then I remembered his name was Anansi.

Yeah, I know my Screen Name isn't really original, but it wasn't exactly my top priority at the time I joined this site.

Heh, that's interesting.. Arashi, Anansi, I can easily see why you'd think of that...

It's an abbreviation of an old dance and soccer alias, but I've been called Molly forever by my grandmother and we cannot figure out why.

Haha, three in fact. I'm looking for the other ones to copy and paste my answer. My first explanation for my name was ok, but I detailed it a little more in the second one.

Minyaliel is Sindarin ("Elvish" a la Tolkien). It's a compound of Minuial and the female ending -iel, only shortened (else it would be Minuialiel, which is probably prettier, but more tedious to type), and means "Daughter of the Dawn". This is a name I was given because I was born at dawn, and it's stuck. I love it, and use it as much online as out in the "real world".

It means that fate has decreed I shall never be a Poet Laureate. And perhaps (if any of you have read my work) you might agree that's probably a good thing.
