Question Any Gothic scene in Dubai?

Hi everyone, I am in Dubai, UAE...and I was wondering if anyone knows of shops selling Gothic artifacts or statues...etc in Dubai. I am new in the city and my man's birthday is coming up soon...Please help if you can. I know it is a tough inquiry, but I am knocking all doors to get the info. Thanks

I would have thought Egyptian style goods would be readily available in such an area seing as Egypt is roughly next door geographically speaking. Egyptian style jewellery has long been included in goth dress and style, ankhs and so on. Wether your boyfriend likes such things only you would know but it's a suggestion nonetheless.

As for more actual goth stuff like band merch, no idea sadly as I am in the UK. I'm not really sure how many G.Net members live in or around that area but I don't think it's many. Most of us seem to be concentrated in Europe and the US .

I know Dubai has rather strict rules on so many things, so I have no idea what is and is not allowed with regards to clothing and goods generallly falling under the Goth umbrella .

It may be that you'll have to buy things online .

What exactly is a "gothic artifact"?

The best I can tell you would be to try and order something off of the internet or find something that you could customize.

something close

I managed to find a gift that is a bit appropriate ..i found a few Boris Vallejo statues in a shop in Dubai Mall. The shop has some Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings artifacts, and in the middle of these i came across Vallejo's stuff. But that is about it in Dubai...nothing else

I find it profoundly annoying that you ask if there's a scene in Dubai when all you wanted was to find some kind of UAE Hot Topic or Spencers. I had no idea that scene and shop were interchangeable.

If you had properly read my very first question on this thread, you would have known that I was looking for a gift. I do not understand what you mean by a UAE Hot Topic...what does that mean? my question was clear and I don't see a reason for such condescendence from your side.
My apologies for seeking help here!!

UAE = United Arab Emirates I believe.

In fact, you mention it in your original post.

He's saying that you're looking for an UAE version of a hot topic shop, which is some sort of brand in the states.
