I know this isn’t just me.
I feel the presence of something dark, looming in the doorway of the bathroom attached to my bedroom. I don’t want to look. I tell myself, “don’t look, there’s nothing, you’re only scaring yourself”. I try to focus on anything else; my bright computer screen, the pattern on my bedsheets, spotted, connecting the dots with my mind, making shapes, images.
But still I feel it.
I turn slightly, I try to see the doorway with my peripheral vision. Nothing.
I think.
I do it again.
And again.
And again.
There isn’t anything there. You’re only scaring yourself.
I turn and face my fears. An empty doorway.
But I can’t
look
away.

If you like scary stuff try riding a Hayabusa Turbo at 220 mph. Itīs like mother nature is trying to tear you off the bike and bounce you down the road īcos she feels the fuck like it.

Sounds like fun. I've only even driven a car at 100mph. Windscreen wipers couldn't keep up with the rain, so I had to slow down.
I have a severe phobia about rollercoasters and I went on one (largest, scariest wooden piece of crap).
The bar across my lap didn't clamp down on my legs (the person next to me was a lot taller than me), so when the rollercoaster went upside down, I moved around a lot.
Felt like I was going to fall out . I did a lot of screaming.
When it stopped, and I got out and kissed the ground the person next to me complained that I did a lot of screaming.
After I got the tape measure out and explained that there is quite a bit of height difference between us and that I had an inch or two of 'freeplay' between my legs and the railing and that I felt like I had nothing holding me in, he shut up.

The Poughkeepsie tapes got me the first few times watching 'til SOMEONE had to ruin it for me (my girlfriend lol, who exposed to me the phoniness of each tape). Still though, any elaborate murder on tape is bound to trigger concern. Along with many clicks and forwardings.
