Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Do what I do and make sweet, sweet love to this website: The Crypt
Then, if you ever actually see any of the bands you download, give them money. Or I will hunt you down.
iTunes is the bane of musicians, just FYI.
Kthx bai. <3

Eluvitie plays "folk metal" or "celtic metal"... Seen them once at the Hellfest but I was so LSD-high I can't remember much of their set. Anyway, that's not particularly the kind of music I listen to, even if I'm into dark folk a lot.

Eluveite is decent, and like the above guy said, folk metal.

I remember the moshpit was quite intense. And I fell. A lot. Then I was somewhere in a field looking at cows.

well they weren't that talkative, but, they looked so coooooool...
(later the same day, I managed to get back to the festival to watch Danko Jones perform, it took me five songs to realize I wasn't looking at the stage but turning my back to it. That's the point where I decided to crawl back to the camping. Which was only the beginning of a loooooong week end that ended with six broken ribs for me)
Back to Eluvitie : back in the days, they reminded me a bit of an old band called Skyclad, which was definitely celtic metal. Anyone remember them ?
