Who loved Carrie?
Carrie was one of the scariest and best horror movies of all time. Who agrees?

I saw it and thought it was really good but I thought it was only a bit scary, but the thing at the end when her hand sticks up out of the dirt, gave me a fright...

Yes.. What she said..
Unless the thread was stupid to begin with, people may feel free to post in any relevant thread, no matter how long it has been inactive.
However, I did have a talk with Reject about this very fact yesterday.
So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, and hope he got my point.

It's not one of my favorite films and I've never read the book. It just doesn't seem very interesting to me, inanimate objects coming to life and trying to kill someone. Always seemed super-weak to me.
Watch out! That toaster's a killer!

I didn't like it; especially the end. The camera work made me angry.

As with, all but one, Stephen King movies, the book was much better.

Bah!
I've seen it, it's not brilliant. The inanimate object I'm talking about is the car. True cars are mobile, but they're still objects. Like a toaster. They don't move by themselves, normally. That kind of movie just doesn't frighten me. Why would a 'ghost' bother inhabiting an object instead of trying to inhabit a person.
That'd be much more useful!

Yeah, I've heard great things about the movie, but I've only seen parts of it. I'll probably rent it sometime.

A story that isn’t long enough to be a book but to long to be a short story. I laughed to when I first hared of it. And go rent Shawshank to night, it’s true what they say.
Anyway… Carrie, it’s ok but not great.

X I didn’t think you were laughing at me. Don’t worry so much about my feelings, I let them die a long time ago.

"Carrie", 1 of a few movies that scared me witless as a child. Now that I'm grown, I can actually enjoy it. The prom night scene & Mrs. White's attempted murder of her daughter Carrie/house collapse climax were the best parts of the flick! Fully!
