Hey, there's nothing wrong with liking stuff that not many other people do. That's why I've started to branch out. I only used to like 80's harcore or UK82 and stuff, but it got so boring and repetitive, so I branched out. Now I like crust, grind, anarcho, industruial, deathrock and even some goth, plus a whole lot more! (Still exploring the latter 2 though)

Not really, most art students I've dealt with are either pretentious, egocentric plastic bohemians or highly sheltered yuppies on anti depressants who bitch about how hard their life is while living in their house well into their mid twenties.

I know, but it makes it hard to be part of communities... I'm not being all "Oh I'm so different" but it makes it hard when most people I come in contact with really can't appreciate the music I do. Or, if they do, they only appreciate the bands and artists I like that fall into a certain genre (i.e, they may love the Cramps and the Gun Club, but not be able to enjoy Brazilian jazz or anything unpunk that might come their way)

I know where you're coming from, keep it up and us punks can learn about this whole Goth business together! Hah

Well, yes, I hate to say it because I don't want to appear overly sorry for myself, but I really do regret the inevitable moral degradation which comes with advancing age (because it is advancing, just not advanced!)
