It's the same hair cut and the difference between the two pictures is that the fringe has been styied differently.

They don't make those 'smarties' chocolates anymore?
I haven't seen them in stores in a long time.

I'm basically wondering whether to get a fringe or not. I really wanted one but people are saying it looks better without it...

At least you have hair unlike people who have gone naturally bald and hating it.
Hairstyle of your choice or education? (Which is more important)
Does your hair really play a major role in your life?

I really hate when people say that. The point is we shouldn't have to make such decisions. It's not "Only hair", it's a step into our personal freedoms that allows people to mess with our rights. Let your freedoms get stamped on somewhere, and we all suffer as a result. The biggest fights start at home.

Don't worry! If it is salon dye it is alot harder on ur hair. Start using the kind u can buy at a store. It has conditioners in it and not as much hair will fall out.

1) I'm happy to have hair, thanks for making me remeamber that
2) I just want to be able to not be judged on how I look but, ofr who I am, I school shouldn't care about how I dress, or my hair, just that I do well in school and am a nice person. Why does the rest matter? ....... I'm in agreence with Rosie

"At least you have/which comes first" type of people annoy me becuase they're exactly the kind of people that get so hung up on their maturity and making mature sacrifices that they forget to do a damn thing to make the world comfortable for everyone else.
I propose that anyone who is hung up on someone else's hair belongs back in the schoolyard poking fun at the kids with freckles, and by extension, are not very mature, and do not deserve respect.
And yes, this includes most employers.

Play a major role? No. Is it part of my identity? Yes.
I agree that education should come before hair style. But I feel strongly that it shouldn't have to be one or the other. The style of one's hair has no effect on the capacity of one's brain.

In life, you can't always have everything your way, unless you're a spoilt brat! Life isn't meant to be fair, don't you already know that?
There is more to a person than the hair growing from a person's head. If you think that 'self expressionism' is purely or predominately based on visuals, then that makes you a moron with pathetic superficiality problems.
Whine about your hair, but please its not worth whinning for a lifetime.

I'm sorry, but I have to laugh at this post since it's such a Cliché.
Life isn't meant to be fair? All the more reason to make it more unfair and do nothing about it, eh?
Please stop attempting to patronise us and take the position of the wise weathered old woman, because you're really not. With age comes wisdom, but with maturity comes arrogance.
You're trying to be deep, mature and responsible and it's not workng. Any step into someone's personal freedom this blatantly unneccessary is worth whining a "Lifetime" for.
I don't much care for the generalisations you're making. I am not a shallow person. And my hair is a physical part of my head, so I care very much what it looks like, and no, I don't think that makes me shallow just for taking an interest in something that is part of my body and is the part of the body most used for self expression.
I will choose what matters to me, thank you very much.

Firsly, I wasn't trying to take the 'position of the weathered old woman'.
I think its pathetic to prioritise your hair over education and to make it such a big deal.

I think part of the problem here is that it's difficult to judge the true value of an education while you're still getting that education. At 14, all one has ever known is school. With no basis for comparison and no idea of the demands of the "real world," it's easy to undervalue school.

I point you back to Tall One in Black's earlier post, and suggest you reread it.
It doesn't appear you've picked up on anything I've said, either.
