Dream characteristics
I was reading Aldous Huxely, and there's a passage in Heaven and Hell that says that most people dream mostly in black and white. I can only remember having one dream in black and white- and it sticks out in my mind becasue the rest of my dreams are in color.
I was just wondering about general characteritstics of your dreams are... are they in color, do you have re-occuring dreams, can you usually control what you're doing, do you sleep walk, do you have night terrors, and so on.

I usually dream in color, in third person, and I can sometimes control what I am doing.
I have night terrors, which have become less frequent, but I can't remembre what I was dreaming once I wake myself up.
Last night I had a dream that the world was ending, and there were zombies everywhere, and also religious zealots. I spent most of the dream avoiding both groups, and I can't remember if it turned out at the end that it was all a comic-book that I was writing or a comic book that I was reading.

I've had some really strange dreams. I had this one that I shot one of the few people I trust in the face with a sawn off shotgun.
I had one this other day in which I nicked my neighbours telly, and was running down the street with it, and it was becoming bigger and bigger and bigger, and then it turned into liquid. Hot molten plastic that smelled like burned electronics. I drowned in a sea of diodes and transistors.

I have two recurring dreams. One where I'm stuck in a forest and have to get to some kind of building in the middle. I don't know what the building is or what is in there, I just know I have to get to it. I almost get there but something, some kind of dark shadow appears and kills me and I wake up. The second one, I'm stuck in a long white corridor with doors all down both sides. The doors have windows in them and there are people stood in the windows looking out at me. None of the doors open and I just spend what seems like forever running up and down the corridor screaming and trying to open the doors. Eventually, I manage to get one of the doors open and that's when I wake up.
I also sleep walk occasionally and I'm told I also talk in my sleep quite a lot.

I had to change the brand of prescription medication that I was taking because one of its side-effects that I experienced was horribly vivid nightmares. I don't actually know whether I dream in colour or in black-and-white, though: all of the dreams that I have now seem very diluted in their intensity and I usually forget them soon after I wake up.

my dreams if you can call them dreams are mostly disturbing and rarely make sense.
I can have 3 dreams condense into one which in the end is hard to fallow as well as mind fucking .
Some of them are just draining me and those are the one i hate the most.
I use my dreams a lot as an inspiration and paint what i'm dreaming about.

You dream in black and white and remember in colour.
I'm slightly upset no one appears to know this.

I think it's because the part of your brain that deals with colour is shut down during sleep.
Don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure.
Actually, looking it up I'm not entirely sure about my first post.
But tbh I don't care.

Liek read a book, a newspaper, a computer, a sign, you cant read anything because the part of the brain that controls that is turned off for most people.

and?
by saying that you are deeper than i.
i just explain briefly what my dreams were .
if you want to get on my nerve you will have to try better than that.
As for now you only manage to fail miserably and make yourself look somehow like a genius.

My dreams are in watered-down colours and my vision is often obscured by objects or dim lights. I think this only happens because I am not fully in sleep paralysis and am attempting to open my eyes in real life. I usually know when I am dreaming, and if I find the dream boring, too frightening, or tiring, I'll switch to another "story". However, under stress I tend to have long, realistic nightmares and not realise I'm dreaming. Sometimes when I wake up, I have to confirm that it was only a dream by, for example, finding and talking to a person I dreamt had died. Fortunately, those dreams are fairly rare.

My dreams are always in color and are almost always lucid.
