My good news is that Justin got a job, had his first day today, and should be here in early February!

Long distance relationship?
Great to hear that he's got a job though, not the easiest thing to get these days.

Yeah.. I am in northern Virginia, he is in Denver, Colorado.
I miss him like crazy.
He is working at.. a grocery store. but he will be making about $1000 per month, which is a good start.
Ophie.. yeah. I feel so deprived.

I managed to get an hour with the counsellor today!
One hour doesn't help, but I may be able to get regular appointments once a few slots open up.

I got into one of my top schools in nyc. An art school. I'm still looking at others and have good news from at least one other one. Not as prestigious, though, but hey, it's something so I can't complain. I'm going back home first week of jan. Then I should be off on my own a few months after.
Yay to ejucashun.

Good for you! Mine is in progress and I make halting advances at it usually but it has come a long way. Also making progress on some weird related artwork, a large piece of which is up in my livingroom, taking shape.

My step grandma is out of the hospital just in time to be here for Christmas. I'm so happy she's better.

With the money on various Christmas gift cards I got a few things.
Used cds at Cheapo:
Danzig- 5 Blackacidevil
Stiff Little Fingers-Inflammable Material
The Best of The Exploited
In Defence-Don't Know how To Breakdance
and my personal favorite find, Spine of God by Monster Magnet
In books I got: all three George Carlin books in one boxed set and 15 Hours (its a Warhammer 40000 book, don't make me explain.)

I'm going to be getting a new camera soon
My old one thinks the lens is blocked from going all the way out, so it thinks it's jammed, when really it just didn't have the energy to pull the lens back when I tried to turn it on when the batteries were low. It's so old though that it's not worth sending it in for repair. It's got 2 megapixels and is getting noisy when I take pictures in semi-lit conditions.
But I'll be getting a new one soon, so I'll be able to take photos again

I just got back from my prefect camp, where we voted who's getting what positions on the board. And I'm a house captain! Woohoo!
