poem about me to introduces me
I am a raven of the inky black night
I hate the cursed morning deathlight
but on though the gauntlet of society I must fight.
I come to kiss the cold quivering darkness,
I die like a worthless pawn
and bleed the blood-drenched dagger of a night til dawn.
I bleed and bleed bleed more and more
and hear the hungry crows gnawing at death's oaken door
and though I wear a leather cloak of black
and though I crave escape from this bullshit life (by heart attack)
I go on - lift the bloody hatchet and hack
hakc hack
and push though life's gimmicks
my emptiness could win the Olyimpics

Ahahahahaha.....
I'm sorry, but this is totally making me rofl my sox off.
By the way, it's soul, not sole, and you misspelled darkness. As well as a few other common words that appear often in even the simplest literature.
I'm guessing this is a joke. If so, I... um... still kinda think you're an idiot.

This is just sad. I was looking at this thread and thought it could possibly be an original way to introduce yourself. But I was sadly mistaken, this poem was shit. Really funny though.

That's actually a pretty cool idea for a thread - we could all write little poems to describe or express something about ourselves - or not - just a thought.
My poetic stupidity leads me to ask -
How do you bleed a blood-drenched dagger?

(head on desk, laughing) That was so funny. I mean, really, you just brightened my morning. Welcome to G-net!
This is actually a good idea; we could all write poems expressing our traits. (Duck's would be a limerick, I suspect)

If you're serious, then you should stick to just answering the silly questions in an intro thread like the rest of us. Bad, bad poem. Fie on you.
But if you're fucking with us, as the "my emptiness could win the Olyimpics" line leads me to believe, then I adore you.

Fellow Korn fan, don't believe them!
This poem is fabulous. It's capturing the darkness I feel within me, as well. You have power with your words.

I agree with Ophie, sheer bleeding blood-drenched awesomeness.

The spirit was willing, the body was weak. "E" for effort.

POEM RESPONSE:
just liek the preps at school
gothic place tells me im not cool
they bust my balls hard
and bring vicious attack to my nards
and eventually killing me, time runs nigh
to lift the poem up high
and crucify, curxify,
and I'll never know whiy
my sanity flakes away
like the golden crust of pie

I wrote this more than 13 years ago
Shattered Reflection
I wish I had a mirror
For memories fade away
To only look back once again on yesterday's today
To hold it in my hand, to look, to see, to cry
To wonder who I am
So I'd never wonder why
I wish I had a knife
to be rid of my pain
To "un-give" myself life
that has left a bloody stain
I wish I had a box
to throw away the key
to keep it there forever
for all eternity

Dude, you fucking suck!
There's NO such thing as a poem response!
A poem is a piece of heaven. It's beauty trapped in ink.
It's not just a shitty series of rhyming words combined together in the world's most laughable attempt at meter.
I laugh at your 'attempt' at 'poetry'.
You can't take criticism for your ridiculous life. We're not busting your balls saying it's shit; we know it's shit, and if you don't, you don't know anything about poetry.
Do you even know who Herrick is?

oh oh - but while we're on the 'let's all go and write bad poems about ourselves' thread, here's my attempt:
I tore a muscle
now I'm sad
sitting in a puddle
crying real bad
