ThouShaltNot

These guys...

You know, I like the music. I think it's appropriate enough. But the singer... the damn singer is just... whinny or something. He sounds a lot like those vocalist of pop-punk bands. You know, that whole sing half way out of your nose kind of thing.

You know, I will say this: I don't think he intentionally sounds like that. I think he just can't help it.

The rest of the band isn't so bad though, kinda Gusterish.

I have only heard two songs, and I must say I adore "If I Only Were a Goth." I didn't care so much for the second (which I don't remember the title of).

I saw them live at Drac's Ball in Philadelphia. That was the first time I heard them, and thought they were simply awesome.

Their song "True Love" is my favorite song. I love it. I saw them live (with the poster above), and sadly, they didn't do my favorite song, but they were still amazing. I ended up writing the singer a note telling him how much the song meant to me and giving it to him.
Pretty fanboyish, but whatever.

You thought it was lame/fanboyish that I named my lizard Reznor... Instead of Mr. Spiky...

Their song 'If I Only Were a Goth' is just like the 'I Must be Emo' song for us, only less biased which makes it better.
The song is funny because it's true.

The lads are good. We had them play at the Freak United in D.C. a couple years back. I will admit I missed their performance that time, as I was on another stage when they played, but did catch them later in NYC and they were brilliant.

I've only heard "True Love" and "When Everyone Forgets," but they're two of my favorite songs. I should look into getting some more of their music...

A few of my favorite songs are:
Walk Away
Oh Invisible
Without Faith
When I Crash

Then, there's their song "If I Only Where A Goth". If nobody told you, one would think it was sung by Voltaire. That song has to be the perfect satire of the Gothic lifestyle.
