Ahh, FairyGothMother... *gets glazed look* ...the home of many of my dream dresses.

Just look at this one for example! *Droooool*

Edit: sorry for the lack of helpfulness! I think I actually know of a good site though, hang on a minute...

Got it! Wysteria - it's a plus-sized gothic clothing site. It's based in the UK, but I'm pretty sure they'd deliver abroad.

You could always go to a fabric shop and sew a skirt together...

http://www.thedarkangel.co.uk has some nice stuff. As has http://www.fetishcentral.net/ (but I think they're jiggerying their site about at the moment)

And http://www.gothichaven.com/ has some truly drool-worthy stuff!

If you decide to sew: http://gothfashion.info/ could be of use if you're happy with sewing but want something quick.

If you Can't find one you could always buy a pattern and make one yourself, skirts are fairly simple to make depending on the style, at least then you can do what you want with it

Torrid is a really good one, but be careful what you get and try everything on! They do not make much for short people. Half the shirts I've bought from there could be dresses.

It tought me never to buy cloths online.. heh

Sorry if this is kinda stealing your thread I_Stay_Dead but since this was already up I didn't really see point in making another one

I too am starting to look for a prom dress after realising that most people have already got theirs, but have no idea where to start so I was wondering if anyone had any websites that haven't already been mentioned, for small size? I'm in the UK, so UK based would be convenient, but I wouldn't mind trying abroad stuff.

Sorry if I haven't intro'd myself properly, I have been lurking around a short while, but haven't really thought of anything to add that would be contributory to the board yet. I must admit the politics area has fascinated me in particular so far.

Just make sure you introduce yourself in that forum too. Soon

I know a lot of girls think the prom is all about the dress, but the amount of money some people spend is outragious. Mine cost me $45 in a mall. It was black with a white rose on it. I was more concerned about my hair and having fun.
To this day I can't remember the dresses my friends had on, but I do remember the delicious DJ we had. If I only had a picture of him.. I also remember what the room looked like and how much fun I had.

Anyways, my point is don't panic if your dress isn't what you thought it would be. There are more important things to remember.
Oh, and wear comfortable shoes unless you want to take your shoes off half way through the night and be walking around in all manner of nasty things.

Thanks guys, I saw some really nice stuff - some corsets caught my eye, and a skirt.
...If I buy the skirt and corset, it really will be the most feminine I have ever been and the most I have ever spent on myself. I never ever wear skirts, however, will be breaking a promise otherwise...

It's always good to try something new - you might surprise yourself by really liking it! Have fun shopping

She's apologised and Jillian's helping her out.

I think she's trying to play nice... Give her a chance to redeem herself?

She didn't apologize! She just flecked it off her neck with the back of her hand, like a moscuito!

Heh, soory. I just felt like arguing for the sake of arguing, even if it is ture.

She did apologise in another thread.

That thread was later deleted because it was stupid and went off topic.
