Okay, I know this is not the place to post this, so that's my whine. Considering how popular the Turn-offs thread is, I thought, okay why not 'Turn-ons'. My whine, if I had one for this thread, would have to be: 1) I'm sure there already is a thread like this, but I don't know where to find it. 2) I don't know where to post this -- here, General or Spooky News, considering what could wind up here. 3) Considering what turns some folks off here in gothic-netland, I am almost afraid to find out what turns them on (hence Spooky News). 4) I am almost convinced about 90% of the posts will turn out to be from the ever lovely, ever charming, and ever Epicurean Duckman. (No offence meant and none taken I hope).

Believe me when I say, physique and style do something for me; but they hardly ever affect my desire for someone beyond the mandatory biological level. That's because I've become a master at sublimating my sex drive, allowing me to judge women on other characteristics, namely, her intelligence, attitude, passion (for something outside herself), sense of humor, and the interplay this combination creates between us. If I was hung up on her boobs I wouldn't get the chance to enjoy that; that said, there are so many vapid airheads crowding up the planet that the good, solid, romantic experiences I look for turn out to be few and far between anyway. But they're always worth it.

Women: Playful attitude, either real short hair or real long hair, curvy/almost chubby body, good smell, dancing.

Men: Broad shoulders, thick arms, bit of chubbiness or attractive amount of muscle (enough to be hard, but not over-built), deep voice, dark eyes, geeky awkwardness.

Women: I'm so damn picky, and it's not a specific set of characteristics. Body type doesn't matter, I tend to prefer shorter, I like long hair, I REQUIRE the right personality..... but again.. Intelligence, attractive scent, resilience, independence, black leather boots (even if the girl wearing them does nothing for me, these never fail). Good taste in literature, music and movies. A kinky streak is vital. Chicks who are confident enough that they don't bother faking cuteness. Ball-breaking one-liners can be incredibly hot. Catching a glimpse of suspenders under a girl's skirt would have me gaga - it's never happened yet, but I live in hope.

Well I'm much more of a mind over body kind of guy. A girl has to have an attitude I like, risk takers are very cool. Clothes wise; I go nuts for platform boots, combat boots, PVC, fishnets, mohawks, studs, leather. Body wise; Black hair or colored hair, taller or shorter. I'm not too picky on the looks department, as long as we enjoy our company, I'll be happy.
