I really fancy going pink but I'm almost 28 -do you think that's like mutton as lamb business??

I feel old and need revival!

Should age matter? They say I'm too old for the lifestyle I live, but I don't care. Do what you want, after all it's your life and it's only up to you to do the things that makes you happy in it. Go pink? Sure!

Don't fall for comformity. It's dull.

If you're worried get pink slices in your hair & if your hair is black (like in your pick) it would look awesome

You're not too old for pink hair. I'm 25 and I plan on going purple if I get on permanent at the temp job I'm on right now (since they do allow multi-colored hair). I honestly haven't had the opportunity to go oddball color before now between my parents, school, and various jobs.

Sweetie, I wore pink hair to work (and orange, and blue) and I'm way older than 28. Enjoy.

Do what you want. Self expression is an unending thing that does not have an age limit in any way whatsoever. If only most people could realize this....

Crucifix, my grandmother was from Charlotte.

MsMoth, You could tell people you were doing it for a good cause, i.e. to support cancer patients (The official colors for the Susan G. Komen Foundation are pink). I wore pink hair to work for that (and the orange and blue was for our local football team when they won the Fiesta Bowl). Hey, on St. Baldrick's (St. Patrick's Day) people have been known to shave their heads in support of cancer patients (although I have never been 'gutsy' enough to go that far).

Personally, I think 28 is too old for pink hair, but you might rock it. Do what you want.

I know plenty of people over the age of 30 with fun colors in their hair, as long as your boss doesn't have a problem with it then go for it, though if you are nervous about it then just get the slices done, I'm sure your hair will look fantastic either way

Last year I had pink and black hair, and I was 32 at the time. Try going to parent/teacher meetings like that! I feel that if you want to do it, then do it and damn the people who look down on you. There will be more who think it's cool as fuck, anyway.

If it looks good, then why not? Mind you, I´m saying -if- it looks good. This is something you´ll have to determine yourself. Before doing anything colourwise with my hair, I always play around manipulating the colours of my hair on a photo in the GIMP; it´s turned out to be a great way to avert some horrible disasters. Highly recommended.

Mmmm, pink hair could look good on an older woman. I would be careful on how it is done. It could look hot or comical. The streaking idea was probably the best one. Maybe heavy streaking around the face and solid stripes through the rest of the hair in either pink and your natural color, or light and dark shades of pink.
