Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Placebo?
Anyone know them.
Love the song Pure morning..
I love singin the words.. I friend in need is a friend indeed, a friend in leather is better.
Pure Morning
by Placebo
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend with weed is better
A friend with breast and all the rest
A friend who's dressed in leather
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend who'll tease is better
Our thoughts compressed
Which makes us blessed
And makes for stormy weather
A friend in need's a friend indeed
My Japanese is better
And when she's pressed she will undress
And then she's boxing clever
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend who bleeds is better
My friend confessed she passed the test
And we will never sever
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Pure morning
Pure morning
Pure morning
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend who'll tease is better
Our thoughts compressed
Which makes us blessed
And makes for stormy weather
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend who bleeds is better
My friend confessed she passed the test
And we will never sever
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Day's dawning, skins crawling
Pure morning
Pure morning
Pure morning
A friend in need's a friend indeed
My Japanese is better
And when she's pressed she will undress
And then she's boxing clever
A friend in need's a friend indeed
A friend with weed is better
A friend with breast and all the rest
A friend who's dressed in leather
Also
Lords of acid, "I must increase my bust" and the 80billion remixes.
That song gets so inside my head...lmao
No, I'm not on a sex song kick, but they have gotten into my random list in the last few days...lol

I'm pretty sure everyone living in the western world knows Placebo.
I respect them, but they bore the crap out of me.

I like the song Brian Molko did with Trash Palace (I believe that's right) called "Metric System."

I'm pretty sure I like them, but I really don't like the song you posted. I think it's kinda cheesy.
I like Lords of Acid, though.

I've only really listened to Sleeping With Ghosts, and it's on my top list of favorite CD's. "Hold your breath, count to ten, fall apart, then start again."

Ah I have fond memories of that song... I remember hugging my friend, and dragging other mates in... and then before we knew it, I was at the center of a mass of people swaying to that beat. Tis the most fun I've ever had sober. *sigh*

I was kind of disappointed with the direction they took after the first two albums...they were magic. Without You I'm Nothing is one of my fav albums.
