Batman - The Killing Joke

Fucking impressive bit of graphic novel. I don't really like the Batman comics, but the Joker is one of my all-time favourite characters in any media... so I couldn't resist reading this one when I heard about it.

What I love the most about it is that it keeps the Joker human... it gives him a background and shows that he's not just crazy for the sake of it, and he's not just put across as a clown, like in a lot of the comics/cartoons. Also it shows that at the end of the day, he never really truly went mad.

Anyone else read it?

Which joker are you on about? There have been seven (at my last count). Much like there have been 3 Robins. They have killed off the joker many times over and a 'new' person has taken the persona each time, in the comic.
