Sunn, sometimes known as Sunn 0))), are an American drone-doom band. Many of their songs last from ten to thirty minutes in length, and the tempo could be described
as sounds of nature... if a sounds of nature album was recorded in hell, or maybe
Silent Hill. Anyway, most of the songs are only about 10bpm and no drums are ever used, with the exception of "the Gates of Ballard". Sunn uses hyper-low-end bass frequencies and tones create something called sub-bass, which has been rumoured to make people
