the concept doesn't seem so difficult. You just need a go cart, shitloads of scrap metal, a handful of metallurgy artists (easy to find in an engineering college) and fucking commitment!

Electric models are easy to build and run purely off electronics. This baby has some serious hydrological movement technology and the feet look like they can be pivoted on command... It's a great work of engineering and art, but it's range would be short, I would think.
Still worth making. I'm in to build such a thing.
