Comedy recommendations
Anyone have some new recommendations for comedy shows? Here's some stuff I'm already into:
Steptoe & Son
Yes Minister
Father Ted
Brass Eye
Jam
I'm Alan Partridge
Peep Show (1-4)
Mighty Boosh (1 & 2)
South Park
Family Guy
Some American Dad (although most of it's pretty rubbish)
Some of Monty Python's Flying Circus
The Adam & Joe Show
Head Cases
Did I miss anything really awesome? If so, please clue me in.

Thanks! I can't believe I forgot Futurama and The Simpsons. I don't really like Scrubs or the Young Ones, but I'll check out Black Books.
I forgot to mention Bottom (the Rik Mayall association reminded me!)

I can't think of a whole bunch, but I'll do what I can.
1) Liam Sullivan
2) Bill Bailey
3) Saturday Night Live (They have some funny ones now and again)
Yeah, that's all... I never dove too deeply into comedy.

Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous and Arrested Development... those are the only ones I can think of that haven't been named already.
I second Black Books, also.
And NOT LIKING THE YOUNG ONES??!!! Blasphemy.

Heh I love Brass Eye. I've only seen a small part of Jam though. Mark Heap I think is in this comedy thing about goths that the BBC did. Its on youtube, Click. All the parts are up there.
Definately try Black Books! Theres also the IT Crowd, its not as good but if you're bored...
Follows pretty much the same formula as Black Books. Also the director of the company in The IT Crowd is played by Chris Morris.
Red Dwarf is a good one too, and the Brittas Empire. Red Dwarf is the better of the two.
Also Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

LMAO - it's Mr. Lizard!!
Jam is genius - pretty dark and not for the squeamish, but incredibly artistic. Chris Morris is a god and should be worshipped as such.
I dislike IT Crowd and Red Dwarf (to the shame of my older brothers), but I'll look for the Brittas Empire. Cheers!
I've only seen Blackadder Goes Forth (awesome!), so that's definitely an idea. Thanks guys.

The bit I saw of Jam was a guy trying to get rid of a body so he called someone up and this little girl arrived to deal with it. I think that was Jam anyway.
I do like Chris Morris 
Hmm not sure what you'll make of the Brittas Empire, its got... I can't remember the name, but the guy that plays Rimmer in Red Dwarf. But yeh if you like Monty Python, the Holy Grail is good. And apparently The Life of Brian but I haven't seen that.

Ooh, theres also like a 1950-60's one whose name won't spring to mind.. He did a sketch about the first person to tell the americans how to smoke... And one about bus drivers. He's very funny - but the name escapes me...

Nathan Barley. It was shown on Channel 4 quite a while ago, but they're planning on a second series in the near future (or so I've heard). It stars the guys from the Boosh, but was co-written by Charlie Brooker who worked on Brass Eye (and he also does a column every Monday for the Guardian magazine).
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace/ Man To Man with Dean Learner are also both pretty funny.
S nuff Box, a sketch show which has Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry from the Boosh.
There was a programme on Channel 4 last year which had puppets and cartoons in, which was hilarious. Though sadly I can't remember it's name. If it pops up anytime soon I'll put it down.

Black Books is THE funniest thing i've ever seen.
Dylan Moran is a genius, so is Bill Bailey so it's epic win ALL round.
I love Jo Brand aswell, she's a stand up comedienne but she is so dry...it's amazing.
