Hello everyone. I'm looking for some decent folk to have a good chat with in a non-creepy internet stalker kind of way. Im new to the goth scene and just kind of stumbled upon it when I discovered Siouxsie and the Banshees a few months ago and i discovered that fishnets and combat boots are cool.
My favourite bands are Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Sisters of Mercy, Specimen, and The Cure. Im not relly that keen on modern day goth bands, although i do enjoy The Cruxshadows alot. Im very passionate about my music and I get very irritated when people call the likes of Marilyn Manson goth. Someone once asked me what my all time favourite band was and i almost mega imploded because it is impossible to choose one over the other. Ill leave it to you people to introduce me to some new music and help expand my horizons.
In my first few months of being involved in the great gothic revolution ive had dealings with the likes of posers, anti-goths, emos, and disapproving teachers. A good internet community is just what i need to get through.
