BOSTON -- The headmaster of one of the city's most prestigious exam schools is dealing with an unusual rumor sweeping student classrooms.

There are no vampires at Boston Latin School, says headmaster Lynne Moone Teta.

Seriously.

Students at the school, which was founded in 1635, began e-mailing news organizations Wednesday night with the strange story of vampires roaming the halls.

"Supposedly 3 students believe that they are vampires and today when a student was bitten the police were informed," wrote one student in a message to TheBostonChannel.com. "I heard that one girl was arrested another suspended."

Police, however, denied reports that anyone at the school was bitten.

As far as I'm concerned, this is just more proof that kids read too much Twilight. They even mention Twilight at the end of the article. It is for reasons like this that I see Twilight, and the growing horde of rabid fangirls, as a blight upon our society.

People used to have a degree of respect for vampyres. Then came Twilight-obsessed emo kids, now known as "vampire kids hardxcorelolwtf" or something like that. I seriously see kids hanging around the city, with those scarecrow fang caps and drinking tomato juice o.o
It's just like how people used to respect goths. Like, they would just mind their own business and no one would care too much. Now you can't friggin walk down the street without being called emo. or bashed for being emo. argh.

Doesn't matter. Vampire obsession began with Twilight for a lot of youngsters, which naturally segues [sp?] into wanting to be the blood-sucking type.

Ironically enough, I thought the only good character in the first book was the one who kidnapped Bella and was going to eat her. I was mad that they killed him. >__<
