This was amazing...
Good Evening All,
This really isn't going to be a paragraph that the average person would consider whining, but no other board really fit what I'm going to tell you all so I stuck it here. I guess the end is a bit whiny but...well I'll just shut up and tell the story.
On Friday Feb 10, I was walking in Northampton MA (Any MA residents that are reading this that know how awesome this town is please comment) and I was wearing a long renassiance gown complete with corset and a velvet cloak, when this gorgeous guy walked by (tall, long black hair, green eyes...very Johnny Depp-esque) stopped turned around and grabbed my hand and said "Miss, you are the most beautiful creature that I have ever set my eyes upon" he then proceeded to kiss it in the most Mr Darcy from "Pride and Predjudice" manner and then walked on by. I stood there for a moment, stunned, to say the least and then looked for him so that I may have a word with him. He seemed to have disapeered in the blink of an eye. I was so awestruck that I had to sit down and drink a serious amount of Earl Grey tea. Honestly, nothing like that has ever happend to me before and I wish that I would meet this gentleman again. The encounter was full of Victorian Romance and ...well...I can't function when ever I think about it. I suppose that this was a rant of sorts and I'm sorry, but I had to let it out somewhere. Post any comments that you may have.
Have a Wonderful Evening,
Lady Ravenna

How romantic! Love it, write about it and try and relive it if you can...I don't know.

Lady Ravenna, that's sounds so sweet!
If you're lucky, you two may meet again in the future.

Darkangel my dear, Robster has left many childish posts.
So, don't take him seriously.

A Johnny Depp lookalike romanced you and you let him get away? Bad Lady Ravenna!
It would be nice if more guys out there complimented a lady with the sole interest of bringing a blush to her cheeks, rather than to get something out of it.
How sweet!

Yes yes. Good old UMASS...Too many of my ex's go there. I try to avoid campus at all costs. Although, Rao's in Amherst is my haven.

I do really hope that we meet again. He was gorgeous. I think that I will take a detour on my way home and see if I run into him again. *thinks hopeful thoughts*

That is a beautiful story. Things like that just don't happen. I wish you the best of luck in being found by this guy again. He sounds like a true gentleman.

If I tried this, I'd likely be slapped.
Sounds very, very interesting, even so. I'd do well to take a tip from this gentleman.

Ooo. That's a new, disturbing factor you've just tacked on there.

I don't like touching females much...
Wait, let me rephrase!
I *don't* touch females much, even when it's someone who would likely be comfortable with it. I just can't imagine why anyone would *want* me to touch them.

Awwww..
C'mon now. You are a total cutie.
When I was your age I would've LOVED to meet a guy as handsome and well-spoken as you are..
Seriously.
The girls where you live must be tedious and blind.

Circle, I think you're gorgeous.
And lovely Lady Ravenna, if you find any more like that can you post one to me?
I'm glad you had such a wonderful experience. May it happen again.

Wow. That was an inordinately huge response. Thank you all.
I always sell myself short-- it's one of my little neuroses. No one in has said anything bad about me that has affected me. Recently, that is.
Paradoxically, deep down I'm also arrogant. I love my conflicting personality traits.

Computers should come with little sarcasm-meters built in that automatically attach little diagrams at the bottom of posts.
I agree. It's quite cool, though some clarity of purpose is nice now and then.

How romantic does that sound!
Say your feelings to a beautiful woman, kiss her hand, then banish like a whisper. And then, if the gods let it be, they will find each other again.
I love kissing a woman in her hand, though not many women I know like it

Yea, Circle, you are attractive and if you came up to me and kissed my hand then I would be really excited and I saw the guy on a bus that was passing the bus that I was on...I'm not entirely sure if he saw me, but I certainly saw him...
