sick of this forum

Im sick of being a part of it. I think I liked it better when people were nice towards me. I dont like posting and feeling like i have to perfect every single word or context just so i dont get criticized which is the trend on this site towards me. I might as well leave so you all can *congradulate* yourselves for throwing me off...i've been insulted- whether or not anyone has noticed.
Being told that i should just basically shut up, quit whining, go out in the real world, and ignore the voices in my head...if these people who have fun making themselves happy by being critical of others just for the hey of it then i dont think i should post here any longer. I cant even whine in the whining forum. this forum isnt for GOTHS it's for POST FREAKS.

I don't see your point... if you're talking about the whining thread I just posted in... Only one person said that you should stop whining... and even then someone stood up for you?

We can't make you stay - but I think you're overreacting.

True, that is a bit of an overreaction. I mean, I say stupid things and make spelling mistakes all the time, and everyone here is pretty nice to me =] No one said you had to be perfect.

But that's exactly it, I make a mistake and everyone has jumped on me. Trying to settle a dispute by pointing out that I'm being rude, that I'm being a "troll" and other comments when I wasnt, i was replying to others' comments. Taking my words and picking them apart...even if it is "the internet" that doesn't give you the right to trash someone. I am not one for "flamewars" and I dont enjoy them and I have never been a part of one.
So I guess being the newbie that I am, maybe instead of these judgement calls you could just give some straightforward advice on how this forum works- maybe everyone here has been pretty nice to you, but not to me.

Breathe in and out my dear. That'll always help. Hey, I'm not going to track you down and stop you from leaving. If you don't like being here, you can go. Nobody is holding you here. Look. If people are flaming you, think of why it may be and if you can't figure it out, just don't talk to them or leave. I'm not saying I want you to leave, I'm not saying I want you to stay. Do whatever you please. You're a big girl. You can make your own decisions. Best of luck my sweet, whether you stay or go.

You know, I think some people just don't fit in to this forum... I don't think it's anything personal.

Mindless, could you care to give me a link of this happening?

Here at Gnet you must show a lot of respect. You are a newb, and I did find [looking back at some of your posts] that you did answer quite rudely to some of the advice that was given to you. If you had just appologized, I'm sure it wouldn't have come to what it has.

Looking at that thread, I'd say that Mindless jumped a gun, got pissy, couldn't back up their argument and wanted to throw a hissyfit, take heir dolls and go home.

Delicate is correct, getting advice about a mental health issue from unknowns on a forum that if NOT ABOUT SELF HELP and is not moderated by a trained professional is naive at best.

Everyone makes mistakes, and probably not everyone insults you. For example, I have never said anything negative to you.

I don't understand it when people post to tell others that they are leaving. I mean, I understand if it is a case of 'I will really miss you all, but certain things are going to keep me away and I want to say goodbye.' But I will never understand the 'I hate you, I'm taking my bat and ball and going home!' posts.

Wouldn't you just vanish? I know that I've joined a tonne of forums where people were arsehats, so I just stopped going there. Why do some people feel the need to post the 'I hate you all, ok bye.' post?

I think the post above yours is the desired effect of these 'good-bye' posts.
Also, Graveyard.Crow, please do not appologize on my behalf. I have nothing to be sorry for.

Thanks.

Yeah, seriously. If you don't like something, just leave. If you're going to write a post on how you hate everything and then threaten to leave, you are obviously just looking for attention and sympathy.

Maybe then it's time you leave if you're so sick of everyone.

Nothing's wrong with it. Just telling it as it is.
