Ignorant statist that has never thought beyond the political confines of the Democrat and Republican parties and is convinced of his own intelligence runs rampant on Gothic.net!

Not really. On what grounds is your argument founded that a senator is not a good president? What about Kennedy or Andrew Jackson or Johnson?
What president did you like?

Oh, so it's not about experience anymore. Let's completely forget your previous claims and lets see if you can get something to stick in this.
Have you actually seen the administration's plan, or just know what Rush Limbaugh says?
In my opinion, it seems pretty solid. Next year, Obama's administration itself admits our debt will be even bigger, but it will bounce into positive digits by 2010, something we haven't had in almost a decade.
I assume you understand how economics work, otherwise, your condescending explanation of "profit" to me is hilariously ironic.

ArchLich... you may want to leave.
As it stands, the consensus of this forum states that you are not welcome.
Would you linger in a public place that didn't want you there?

Kontan, come on, we're having an almost reasonable conversation. I want to see where it ends up.

Oh no, it's still about inexperience, Obama just isnt as smart as Kennedy was for example.
And that is of course your opinion, most analysts beg to differ. But anyway, I'm done arguing for now, my girl has been home for nearly an hour and I havent even kissed her yet, think its time I spend a bit of time with her.

How is Obama worse than Kennedy? I actually see him as being better.
The only thing that saved Kennedy was his compromise during the missile crisis.
Other than that he was just a charismatic leader with little experience. Do remember that it was his brother who had experience and he just became the successor of the reputation of the Kennedy family.

That too. Man, you made a way better argument in way fewer words.

Obama has experience, sure it's going to take a while before we're out of debt, but so far he is doing a good job fixing things.

You don't read, you don't like talking about politics, you can't write, you're obnoxious, you have shitty taste in music, it seems that you're lost forever. I'd ask you what your favourite films are but is it even worth it?

This entire thread should be transformed into a "contemporary" (snort) play set in some sort of "Great Minds Convention". It'd be a jolly good laugh.
