Those are my favourite words at the moment, I like the way they sound when spoken, and I think they’re good solid, accurate ways of saying what you mean.

Oh, and I really don’t mean to insult anyone’s intelligence by putting the meanings up there, I just thought if I was going to do this I should do it properly. I must admit i've had a window with Dictionary.com up while i've been scrolling through other people's posts

What does "koolaid" mean? I couldn't find it in the dictionary.
Masticate always makes me laugh... purely for childish reasons! *wink*

Damn, Wolfie, I love those! Along with "Asshat", you've definitely increased my colloquial vocabulary!

By the way, I went to look up "Snatchwobble" at www.urbandictionary.com and it is unlisted (for now; you might want to go and add it, hmmm?)

I also (since the bug had bit me and really wasn't letting go) looked up "Snatchwobble" at www.dictionary.com and here is what I got for results:

No entry found for snatchwobble.

Did you mean snatch wobble?

So I clicked on that link and got:

No entry found for snatch wobble.

Did you mean unchewable?

heh heh heh!

So, seriously Wolfie, what does "Snatchwobble" mean?

Someone please tell me what koolaid means, it's annoying me not knowing! :-D
Or am I just being dumb and it's actually a made-up word...?

Umm, this is like the 'crumpets' question, but reversed.

In the States, Kool-Aid is a sticky sweet drink made from water, colored powder, and sugar.

Probably no one answered because it's so well known in the States that they didn't think it was a serious question.

See? Kool-Aid!

Thanks Heliophobe :-)
Nope, it was a serious question - we don't have it here in England (but I guess you know that, judging from your location!)

Aah, the great divide. I feel culturally enriched.

It's weird how pretty much everything's the same, yet every now and again some random word crops up that causes confusion. *wanders away with spliff to contemplate the miracle of diversity*

You know what? You should try and get your hands on some Hamburger Helper if you know any Americans. It's this stuff that you mix with ground beef and water, then simmer. It's kind of low-class to Americans but for some reason the Brits I've known just loved it.

Not too say that it is low class to like Hamburger Helper, unless I am in that category too. If so, then hurray for low-classness!

I actually just used the Urban Dictionary to figure out what 'bugger' really meant. I didn't know it had to do with anal.

Oh, and I was forced to watch Ali-G last night, for anyone involved in the 'Chav' discussion.

Whew!

My favourite Brit words are bugger, bloody, bleedin' and sod. I just LOVE telling people to sod off. I think we use piss off a bit more than Americans, too. Of course, this is all based on my watching of American TV shows and one American girl in my class, so very possibly Americans use these words like the clappers and we just don't know about it.

I LOVE Father Ted - frickin' hilarious. I wish I had an Irish accent so I could call people eejits, without sounding like a prick.

I'm crap at putting on accents, except for the times I do it accidentally! Sometimes a random Brummie/Welsh accent will come out of me, much to the surprise of everyone around me!! No idea why this happens... do you think I should see a priest about an exorcism? *grin*

Definitely, Deviant.

Wait, though - not if they're gonna cure you of your craziness. We like you just the way you are.

Aww thanks Wise Child *hugs* I actually like being a little bit crazy, but some people really don't "get" me! A lot of people think I talk way too much, or that I'm kind of random... ah well, maybe they're just afraid that the madness is catching! *wink*

Wolfie,

Oh good, 'cause I was imagining that it was a nympho with epilepsy.

Your definition makes much more sense to me, now!
