What is in human nature!!!!

What exactly is in human nature:
is it to judge others to make yourself feel better. Is it to hurt others just to make yourself feel stronger. Human nature has many different aspects, and all humans take one or more of those aspects whether good or bad and uses it to create their own personality....
I was reading this one blog and it was with this girl who was being tormented by peers in her school - sure there was many things that she said out of hurt and pain from the effects of these people... but then others were commenting on it, telling her not to be cruel or judgmental and yet they said many awful things to her - sort of being two faced in away.. hurting here with their words...
