Having never blogged before I am unsure where to begin. I guess I'll tell you a little bit about myself.
I co-own a teeny, tiny boutique called Libertine and create my own line of jewelry, accessories, & pet accessories called Diamond*Star*Halo (yes, I am completely obsessed with Marc Bolan & T. Rex. I also have an unhealthy obsession with KISS, but that's another story...). My line is geared mainly towards goth, steampunk, & burlesque. I find all those things inspiring...

I am a reader, writer, painter, and jewelry designer. I've come to this website to introduce myself to new goths from everywhere in the world. Lately I've been spending a lot of time online looking for clothes and have been pleasantly surprised to find a lot of great things at fairly affordable prices and in my above perfect size.
Otherwise, I've been sick w/pneumonia. I spent 6 days in the hospital getting IV antibiotics and fluids and I've been pretty weak since getting home....

Today is my day off, so i'm going man-shopping with my friend. We're hitting every thrift store in town to find some cheap treasures. Wish us luck;)

I've been thinking a lot about my current situation, and realizing more and more that I have it pretty good compared to others. But there's still this emptiness; a driving need for something else. I'm not sure what, but maybe this little time away from work will help me reflect on just what that is.
